As a web design company, we are commited to showing our work to the world and to keep our web design portfolio up to date. So we regularly update the 6 main categories of websites featured on our web design portfolio:
- Business website design
- Social networking website design
- Ecommerece website design
- Flash website design
- XHTML/CSS website design
- Advanced web application design
As we update our web design portfolio pages, we archive all our past web design projects on our all web design projects page which includes thousands of completed projects. We also have a design work web page focusing more on the graphic design aspect of web design.
But we have been extremely busy lately and haven’t had the time to keep up with the quantity of web design work we develop for our clients. In a way, if a web design company‘s website is not up to date with their work – it might be a good sign that they are busy working with clients as this is the case for us. Our goal is to ensure that we continue to provide the highest levels of strategy, execution and client service – and not to polish our own website over and over (though this is important too so a good balance is key to maximize our ROI)…
Another interesting point that relates to this topic is the story behind our “no business cards” policy. A while ago, after countless meetings with companies of all sectors, we ran out of business cards and since then we haven’t had the time to create an updated business card design and send it to print. This seems like a minor project but when you are 100% focused on designing the best websites and web applications on the internet, this type of things simply falls between the pixels. So if you meet with a team and no one gives you their business card – is it a sign that they are not serious? Or could it be that they are very popular and demanded? I guess it’s a consideration that needs to be made on a case by case approach.
