As we update our web design portfolio pages, we archive all our past web design projects on our all web design projects page which includes thousands of completed projects. We also have a design work web page focusing more on the graphic design aspect of web design.

 But we have been extremely busy lately and haven’t had the time to keep up with the quantity of web design work we develop for our clients. In a way, if a web design company‘s website is not up to date with their work – it might be a good sign that they are busy working with clients as this is the case for us. Our goal is to ensure that we continue to provide the highest levels of strategy, execution and client service – and not to polish our own website over and over (though this is important too so a good balance is key to maximize our ROI)… (more…)

Web design companies can make a difference on the planet. Every time we make a positive choice, we can make a huge difference not only on our immediate environment, but even on a much larger scale.

Let me give you one small example. When thinking about the recession and its consequences on some people, you might dab a few tears with a facial tissue. Or since you want to come to work even when you’re sick, you might use the tissues in the office to deal with a runny or stuffed-up nose. But the tissue you reach for can make a difference! The Natural Resources Defense Council has calculated that if every household in the United States replaced just one box of conventional facial tissues (175 count) with 100% recycled ones, together we could save 163,000 trees for our children’s world. Many of these trees would be valuable virgin wood. Saving forests helps reduce global warming. (more…)

Web design is an industry that may not generate as much pollution as some other fields. However, since its inception, Noam Design has made continuous efforts to be a role model eco-friendly company, reusing material (such as bags), reducing waist, recycling, and more. All of our computers are Energy Star compliant, all of our paper is made out of 100% recycled paper, we use reusable mugs and ceramic cups instead of plastic cups, the furniture we use is environment friendly, etc. We try to make our offices and practices as friendly as possible for the planet.

We at Noam Design believe that U.S. businesses must play a key role in the protection of the environement. We have joined other environmental leaders in contributing to effective strategies for combating climate change and other effects of pollution.

From the very beginning, our team has been an eclectic mix of personalities and different backgrounds. But we all share a deep respect for the world outside of the virtual marketplace that we work in. And now, more than ever, we are concerned about the planet that we live in and what we can do to ensure a clean and beautiful future for the next generations.  Already having a strict attitude from the onset, Noam Design has decided to do more and to encourage our clients, partners, and competitors to do the same. Web design is a field that attracts many creative minds. But ideas represent only a fraction of all the factors that make a business successful… My position here at Noam Design involves scoping out clients’ projects to see if they could be a good fit for our company’s skills – from website design and development, through SEO, web promotion, web marketing, and business strategy. So I am in touch with hundreds of clients who contact us every month, and for the past 2 years I have heard it all! More than once we have been contacted to create a professional Ecommerce website with only a $2000 or $3000 budget! And not to mention how many times I have been asked to sign an extensive Non Disclosure Agreement before the clients would “reveal” the nature of their “innovative” project. That project being building a new Craigslist, combined with the features of MySpace, YouTube , and eBay – with a budget of only a few thousand dollars. As you can see, such information is highly sensitive and needs to be protected by a strict NDA! Though this type of scenario is very typical, it is not always the case and there are sometimes some truly innovative ideas that are worth considering. (more…)
