How often did you send someone links to Google Search pages? We send and receive Google links in emails, chats, blogs, and other media. Usually the link will look something like this:
http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=noam+design&aq=f&aqi=g1&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=CTyO163X8S5iMIpTuzASs6pieBQAAAKoEBU_Qv5Gd&fp=754b7f73eb24aff
That’s pretty ugly. Of course the anchor to the link can be anything you want. Like “Noam Design on Google”. But the link itself will look like the example above: a long URL which contains many parameters you don’t necessarily want to include.
