In total, the windows family counts for over 90% of all operating systems! The next competitor is the Mac operating system with a little more than 5%.

    Windows is really the dominant operating system out there. Wow. But I am sure these statistics will be different if you focus in the New York area. I think there are many more Mac users in big cities such as New York or San Francisco than in other areas of the country. I see Mac users everywhere in Manhattan! Cheers – Greg
