Magento: Why You Should Refrain From Using Too Many Extensions

If you are using Magento for your eCommerce store or WordPress, it is wise to minimize the number of extensions you install on your store as much as possible and edit the template files or use default features instead. The more extensions you have, the heavier your store is and the harder it is to maintain, update, upgrade, etc… Not to mention the quality of most extensions available on the market – it’s poor to say the least.
