Business Strategies In Tough Times – One Year In The Making

New Hourly Rates For Custom Web DesignExactly one year ago, as the economic recession was hitting the US economy, we published what we believed were top business strategies in tough times. The main idea was that it is possible to take advantage of a difficult economic period to boost a business and bring it to the next level. And here we are a year later, after many successful projects and start-ups, I think we can say that these strategies worked well for us!

One thing that was important for us during this past year, was to keep our hourly rates low in order to maintain our business flow while providing clients the ability to get cutting edge web solutions without necessarily having a huge budget. This policy gave us the opportunity to work on a wide variety of interesting and challenging projects, and to boost our web design company to become one of the most demanded web design and web development companies out there.

But all good things must come to an end eventually, and as the economy is getting better, prices are getting higher and the cost of living is rising. Especially as the holiday season approaches! We must adjust our fees accordingly so we decided to end our “recession special”, which means that our fees for custom web design services will be raised by $10/hr. Below is the list of our updated hourly fees based on the type of service. Given the outstanding quality of our work and service – it’s still an unbeatable deal!

  • Graphic Design: $95
  • Front end programming: $105
  • Flash development: $105
  • Search Engine Optimization and web promotion: $105
  • Project management and strategic planning: $110
  • Back end programming: $115
  • Advanced programming: $130
  • Web and business consulting: $210
  • Consultations (in-call/out-call) : $210 / $360

The new hourly rates will take effect in 10 days, starting on Monday, November 30, 2009.

I still remember that day; you walked in the office with a newspaper very surprised but still very confident. Time speaks wonders.
