In just 2 years of doing business, Noam Design has become one of the leading web design companies in New York, has completed hundreds of successful projects for clients of all sizes and industries (many of them won web design awards), and has launched a number of innovative web start-ups of its own. All this while working under the constraints of a small business that made it without any investment. Yes, we have accomplished a lot with our talent, determination, confidence, and lots of hard work!

We launched our web design company blog just about 1 year after it all started – so a year ago (the first post is dated 11/18/08). And this is our post number 100! So over the past year, we published an average of 2 posts per week.

I’ve been playing around with the design of Website Temple’s home page, and I thought it’d be interesting to share a few of the variations I came up with for the design of the main Flash element.

I am not looking for a brand new design so the variations are just slightly different. I am looking to see which version will increase the site’s retention rate and conversion rate. Which design do you think will perform best? (more…)

I recently came accross a very nice slide presentation from Netflix and I think it is worth sharing here because our Web Design Company is committed to many of the same values. Netflix is one of the companies I look up too (from a business perspective) as they have great and innovative ideas, excellent implementations, and overall are doing a great job… Anyway, enjoy the presentation! I was recently interviewed by CNN Money to review a  recently redesigned Ecommerce website.  So I looked at the website and to be honest, the site was still very far from having the potential to become a successful online store (i.e. designed with conversions in mind). And really there are no excuses because in today’s internet, it is so easy and cost effective to get a professional Ecommerce website up and running within a matter of days! There are countless platforms and website solutions out there – many of them are very professional and it is easy to get a website that converts and generate profits.  (more…)

For the past 7-8 months, I have been working intensively on a new online business called Website Temple. After a whole lot of working weekends and nights, together with our super talented team of designers and developers, we are getting closer than ever to the launch of our new venture! Starting a business is hard work. There is a lot to do not only to make the business work, but to do things like register trademarks, find an accountant, hire a lawyer, choose web hosting, write a business plan and all the other nitty gritty of getting things started.
