Web Design Company Going Green… Literally

web design greenOur New York Web Design Company is located in the heart of the city, right by Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. Scattered inside New York City’s boroughs are neighborhoods, and scattered inside of them are districts: one-to-three block areas that sell one item almost exclusively. The Diamond District is up on 47th St. between 5th and 6th Ave. The Garment District is tucked below Times Square, in the high 30′s between 8th and 7th Ave. Noam Design itself sits in the midst of the fur district (but that’s probably whole other blog post).

Two blocks south of us is the plant district, which Noam Design is only just beginning to take advantage of. Plants in offices are nothing new, but how many tech-centric companies do you see trying to literally go green? (more…)

State Of The Web In 08 Points To 09 Design Trends

Web design trendsWeb Directions just posted a “State of the Web 2008″ report with some interesting implications for web design and development trends for 2009!

The report itself is a poll of over 50 questions regarding web practices; data which was taken from 1200 respondents over the month of December 2008. Those who replied were by and large web designers and developers, fields that necessitate keeping abreast of the best web practices and newest technologies.
